Our client, a globally established workforce solutions provider experiencing significant growth across Australia and the Asia-Pacific region, is seeking to appoint several high-performing Business Development Managers to further expand their market presence.

Operating across workforce strategy, offshore staffing, business process outsourcing, and operational efficiency, this organisation partners with Australian businesses to scale faster, improve productivity, and access high-quality talent solutions.

Build a Market — Don’t Just Manage One

This is a true market-building role.

You will be responsible for developing a defined national industry vertical, establishing market presence, cultivating senior relationships, generating new opportunities, and positioning the organisation as a trusted partner within your sector.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Head of APAC, you will operate with a high degree of autonomy while leveraging the backing of a globally established organisation with extensive delivery capability and a strong reputation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing a national business development strategy
  • Identifying and engaging prospective clients within your vertical
  • Building and managing a self-generated sales pipeline
  • Leading consultative conversations with senior decision-makers
  • Managing opportunities through the full sales cycle
  • Negotiating and closing new business partnerships
  • Building long-term client relationships that drive recurring revenue
  • Establishing a recognised market presence within your sector

About You

We are seeking commercially driven Business Development Managers who thrive on creating opportunities rather than waiting for them.

You may come from backgrounds such as professional services, recruitment, workforce solutions, staffing, technology, SaaS, managed services, consulting, financial services, BPO, outsourcing, or operational services.

Most importantly, you will have a demonstrated track record of:

  • Winning new business
  • Building executive-level relationships
  • Articulating and delivering commercial value
