The Opportunity

As the National Sales Manager, you will spearhead our expansion across key Australian cities, including Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane. This role requires strategic leadership and hands-on operational skills to drive business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Energise Team Performance: Regular tactical and developmental 1:1s with your team of Business Development Managers (BDMs).
  • Set Goals and Targets: Establish both quantitative and qualitative goals to support business objectives and career development within the team.
  • Strategic Sales Strategies: Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with growth objectives.
  • Market Analysis: Continually analyse market trends to stay competitive.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Utilise data analytics to refine sales processes, enhance team productivity, and support your strategic direction.
  • Operational Excellence: Introduce new tools and manage processes to optimise workflow and ensure operational success.

Experience

  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years in sales management, preferably within digital media, advertising, technology, or closely related sectors.
  • Sales Expertise: Strong background in selling products and driving sales teams into the SME marketplace.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership of dynamic teams with a minimum of 10 direct reports, surpassing sales targets and fostering professional growth.
  • Strategic Planning: Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic sales plans in competitive environments.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, proficient in negotiation and client relationships.
