About the Role
As Sales Director – ANZ, you will lead the company’s commercial function across Australia and New Zealand, overseeing both new client acquisition and growth within existing accounts. Your remit will span recruitment services, SaaS platforms, and subscription-based digital learning tools.
You will report to the Managing Director – ANZ and lead a team of Business Development Managers and Account Executives, working closely with global product, marketing, and operational teams to deliver integrated customer experiences and scalable growth strategies.
This role calls for a commercially driven leader who thrives in purpose-led environments and has deep experience in complex B2B sales cycles, ideally within education, SaaS, or recruitment domains.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the ANZ go-to-market strategy across recruitment and EdTech product lines

Drive revenue growth through new business development and account expansion

Coach and develop a high-performing sales team across multiple territories

Collaborate with marketing and product teams on localised campaigns and enablement

Build strong relationships with principals, department heads, and government buyers

Own the full sales planning cycle – including forecasts, targets, territory strategy, and incentives

Identify strategic partnership opportunities to expand market share

Analyse sales data and market trends to refine approach and uncover new opportunities

Represent the voice of the customer to inform product and service development
Who You Are
-
Proven success as a Sales Director, Head of Sales, or senior commercial leader

Experience leading national B2B sales teams, preferably across Australia and New Zealand

Background in education, EdTech, SaaS, recruitment, HR services, or professional learning

Skilled in consultative sales to education, government, or public sector clients

Commercially strategic with strong execution and people leadership abilities

Confident presenting to and negotiating with senior stakeholders and procurement bodies

Knowledge of CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce), recurring revenue models, and value-based selling
