About Shell Card:
Target Customers:
Shell Card is a fuel card for Businesses (ABN holders) that is used like a credit card and makes it easy to pay for, and keep track of business fuel purchases.
The fuel card is attached to a Shell Card account, just like a credit card. When the driver fills up, they simply swipe their card and the cost of the fuel is charged to the Shell Card account. The amount owing will then be deducted from the customers linked bank account or credit card.
Every purchase is recorded and itemised on a single tax statement, so there’s no need to keep and tally-up fuel receipts.
In addition to convenience, with a Shell Card account the customer will receive a discount off the retailers Pump Price
Shell Card is accepted at over 1700 sites Australia wide including Shell Coles Express, Dealer Owned, and Liberty selected , Westside & On the Road Branded Sites.
Shell Card provides customers with a secure and efficient way to buy quality fuels, access to an extensive national service station network and the option to use online tools that will assist them to effectively manage their business
The Mid Market portfolio consists of businesses that consume less than 2Mlpa and includes everything from a small Commercial Road Transport operator to a plumber and represents one million customers and 3.8 Blpa.
Mid-Market includes businesses with an estimated annual fuel spend of between $150,000 and

Be a self-starter who is both adventurous and tenacious.
Proven hunting credentials in order to identify new account opportunities, prospecting to generate new business growth.
Proven account management skills to maintain acquired fuel card customers identifying opportunities for volume growth. Highly desirable to have had 5 or more years of experience in a key account or business development role selling B2B solutions into the transport / fleet management industry’s.
Identify opportunities for business expansion through networking, attending trade shows and other customer events
Capability to foster long-term relationships with customers understanding their needs and delivering mutual value
Travel to explore and maximise sales in the territory

You will be familiar with or will have been in roles that have sold into the trucking and fleet management industry. While not essential Distributor or Oil company fuel sales experience could be beneficial. Key areas of competency are:
Initial “startup” commission will be provided while territory turnover is building.
Ongoing Acquisition commission for all customers signed
Ongoing trailing commission for every litre of fuel purchased via Shell Card by the acquired customers
Capacity to build territory volumes and equity over time
Be part of customer focused approach to supporting customer fuel management
Detailed onboarding provided and then with Shellcard colleagues who will help you to learn on the job.
